Kivunim Nosafim-Vocational Center
Kivunim Nosafim is situated on Kibbutz Tzora. It is an institute that offers advisory & diagnostic services in a number of different fields to the general public and to varying organizations. Today it works with the Ministry of Defense, National Insurance Organization, United Kibbutz Movement, moshavim and private companies. The institute is run by a group of psychologists, specialists in the fields of vocational psychology, industrial and clinical psychology. The institute deals with the following areas:
Selection Process for Employment Purposes
The institute offers services to companies that require testing of potential work applicants for various vacancies (including managerial positions) within each company according to individuals specifications.
The testing will show the degree of suitability of each candidate to the post required their personal talents and their individual potential. The testing included aptitude and personality testing .
On-Line testing
We have developed a battery of on-line testing that can be attached to your office computer. The testing can be performed on the spot without requiring the potential candidates to travel to our offices.
We have tested over 3000 people, and our results provide an accurate assessment of the candidates suitability for the posts in question.
Suitability for acceptance into Kibbutzim and Moshavim (collective settlements)
Today many rural settlements are expanding and building new neighborhoods attached to the original communities. Prospective candidates who wish to purchase property are required to undergo testing to evaluate their social suitability.
Vocational counseling
Vocational counseling is offered to individuals and groups who are undecided as to their future studies and careers. Discussion wilh the vocational psychologist together with psychological testing to show the individuals tendencies, personality and specific talents are combined in order to direct the individual to the most suitable fields of study and occupation.
Vocational counseling - rehabilitation
The institute works in close conjunction with the National Insurance Organization, and the Ministry of Defense's rehabilitation departments. It councils individuals who have endured accidents at home or at work and during their army service.
Lectures and Seminars
The institute is now running a series of seminars ranging from career choice and employment seeking, aiding citizens in preparation for a meaningful retirement.
The counseling is professional and observes total discretion in a friendly environment. Parking is in abundance and free.
As from the 15th of October 2008 we have created two new joint ventures:
- We have opened another branch of Kivunim Nosafim in the north of Israel, Oranim, near Tiv'on. This is in conjunction with Emek Telem, a well known institute for diagnostic services.
- We have joined forces with "Hever – Hon Enoshi", one of the largest companies in Israel specializing in placement of human resources.
